for some things, there just are no words
a terrible accident, fatal mistakes
where just a picture, a glimpse of what was is all thats needed to tell the story
a picture is worth a thousand words but how do you photo capture the breaking of the heart
loss of trust, lack of faith, doubt, insecurity
cause these things happen too and upon feeling them you might not have the words
there might not be a way to fix your mind around proper placement of consonants next to vowels to eloquently spell out the manner in which
breathing had suddenly become a chore
vivid and colorful dreams are no more
to express the deflating of hearts filled with hope
and catch the draining of eyes filled with tears
throat dry from open-mouthed over-thinking again and again
trying not to wish for different last time
yet praying for different the next
and all silently
unable to even speak the things, even though they already are
mind willing to only think through my part
really just a final fit of grace
because I have nothing nice to say
